I agree with Christer above. I my opinion while the Amazon app store
may be a good thing, they continue to still screw the pooch in how
they are doing it. For example, the first thing they asked for was FTP
uploads. Now they have a Web GUI. Why even bother asking for uploads
so long ago?

Even for FTP uploads I had to email them since I wasn't able to upload
due to folder permission issues on their end. I emailed them and the
response came back two days later.

Then, when they sent the information for the Web GUI, I wasn't able to
login their either. Turns out they had reversed the username/passwords
in the email they sent me.

To me it feels like Amazon's android store is a "20% time project" for
them! I mean, when it this store actually going to materialize? I'm
not even bothering to update my apps through the WebGUI until the
store actually becomes live. Right now it's just a waste of time. I've
had 4 updates to my main app, including one major update, since I
signed on with them. They are SLLLLLOOOOWW and behind the 8 ball yet.

Let me just reiterate that so far I'm not impressed. Until I start to
actually make money from them, I'm not considering it any great thing.
As a business I need to look at the bottom line. If they aren't
helping move that line, then they are just wasting my time right now.
