Sure it is.

A key part of the OP's question was "why would anyone use a tablet
when they could use a PC?" The answer is "when the tablet does what
the PC can do and the user would prefer to use the tablet for whatever
reason". This is not tied to the type of app, type of tablet,
capabilities of the audio stack, etc.

I chose this example because:

-- iPad has been around a wee bit longer, and Android developers would
be wise to learn lessons from what has worked and has not worked on
iPad

-- it is related to audio, which is the OP's area of interest (despite
the fact that Ms. Sobhany's specific apps might not be possible on
Android)

-- I remembered Ms. Sobhany, partly due to some...history I have with
one of her firms

I apologize to anyone who thought that I was suggesting that somebody
clone those specific iPad apps.
