I've had the same problem, I'm not sure it is any app that is causing it
because I did a factory reset on my N1 (gingerbread), wiping everything and
my pics and music appear for a day (so I don't think it is the SDCard), then
disappear by the next day. This only starting happening with Gingerbread
update. Also my photos become a blurry resolution in the brief time before
disappearing. I bought an iPod touch to take pictures now and play music and
just do a wifi hotspot through my Android, it works well. My N1 is a little
too unreliable these days for media. I've seen other reports of these types
of problems scattered about as well.
