My thoughts as well. They won't make it to the second sentence. I can imagine the comments will be "Gee, these app developers can't even keep their checkout running reliably". Those who are already ready to buy are the least likely to read the description. They've already read it, if they are going to at all, and maybe even tried the demo by now. I'd lean towards keeping the description less cluttered for those who want to know what my app is first. The best way to get the message to the user is to give them a proper error message *during* the checkout process. Something that the Android Market has never done.
