This is a dangerous situation for all Android developers.

Facts:
  * The screenshot I got shows over 50 applications installed in the
notification bar that is open
  * They took screenshots as recently as my 3.6.20 release (http://
tresebrothers.blogspot.com/2011/05/star-traders-rpg-v3620-
released.html)
  * That means it was taken May 22 - May 24 (my updates are regular)
  * Nobel and I are not the only ones they shot at -- at least 48 other
applications were installed that day
  * I have found at least 25 of the top 50 have the features we're
talking about

Software developers should form an association where volunteers will write up the necessary documents to patent everything that is common and natural algorithms for developing on computing system and make then make those patents royalty free to get these patent sharks out of business. India did a program like this with herbs when they found out a pharmaceutical company had patented the herb neem.
