You can't deal with terrorists. If this works out for Lodsys as an income stream, then a flood of additional patent trolls will materialize, and simply sending out checks to the 100 trolls every month will become a major task. And at that point, 100 * 0.575% is 57% of your sales. I don't know about you, but I can't afford to be giving all of my money to people who didn't earn it.
