Well, even if it's free, I don't think it's very ethical. The world is
full of "miserable" people. Just ignore them. And you believe it's OK
"to force users to update the app"? Why should a user be forced to
update an app, even a free one? You can always stop supporting older
versions (I assume that's your reason for forcing them to upgrade),
but it should be their choice. I'd be interested in hearing what other
developers think about that.
