If it was something as insecure as flash then maybe I'd understand and
only because the update checks are so infrequent on Windows. Otherwise
and especially if permissions are changed I'd probably blacklist the
developer mentally. If it was an open source app I had reviewed and
built or one I had reversed to check, I'd also be well annoyed, not at
the developer but his actions.
