OK, I fail to see where the glass is half empty. Have you given them
any personal information or money in hopes of winning the award? Have
you spent large amounts of money or labor trying to winning the
contest?

Earlier I stated that I was winning a category. I missed the part
about "listed in random order" so I have no idea how I'm doing. In any
case, I can tell my subscribers to vote for me in this week's
newsletter and leave it at that.

If I should win, I have no idea if that will bring me great traffic or
fame. I can say in my description "award winning app . . . " and may
even mention in it a press release. If I don't win, I don't have to
mention it and no one will likely care. Glass half full.
