Another thing - I realized that I use "Android Market" in my app in several places, like when suggesting the user rate the app. I'm sure there are a lot of devs also referencing "Android Market". Which will now open an app called "Google Play". I was fairly impressed by how Google managed to replace "Android Market" with "Google Play" all over the damn place literally over night. But they can't change all of the references that exist in hundreds if not thousands of apps. And they can't change the fact that most people that were using it before this re-brand will continue to call it "Android Market" since "Google Play" is a nonsensical, dumb-ass name. Which means that the "Android Market" brand will never die and just continue to add to confusion. This is awesome. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TreKing <http://sites.google.com/site/rezmobileapps/treking> - Chicago transit tracking app for Android-powered devices -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
