I suspect the reason we've never been able to respond to comments is
what Google saw over on YouTube with comments where you can reply to the
comments on your videos. They can develop into flame wars and they
probably didn't want some testy programmers flaming back at bad
comments. I would wonder if the ability to reply to comments means you
have to be a "big company" not just a developer with a lot of
downloads? Software companies would have tech support to handle that
rather than the programmers who developed the app. Either that or
you're going to get limited replies which get reviewed before posted.
