I concur. Once you have made your best attempt to resolve and placate it's better to cleanly disconnect no matter how witty a come back you might have. I haven't had any as dumb foundingly stupid as John's but I'd have one or too that were as belligerent. And one that makes me glad that I live far way in the southern hemisphere surrounded by a *lot* of water.
