Well, I got a reply back from "Placed." They do independently turn on GPS 
to obtain a location. I can hear the cry now if we implemented such a 
system. One of the strong points of RadarNow! (our app) is that it is very 
judicious on how battery is used. Having this SDK doing things I can't 
control is not such a hot idea. Even if it makes an extra $3k a month. No 
point in killing the goose that lays golden eggs!
