I do not have a debug board. However, I have a slow MMC card and when
booting from Qi, I can see the debug message on the booting about the
waiting for card to init though I pass the param:
glamo_core.slow_memory=1. I do not get this error when booting from SD
card with Qi.
When I switched over to u-boot, I do not get the error either and the
system boots up ok.
It could be that the mmcinit() in Qi is done a lot earlier and it needs
a different way to indicate slow mmc.

Vaidhy

How did you conclude that it doesn't pass kernel parameters at all?
You can see the kernel parameter string it's going to use with a debug
board, is that what you're doing?
