| I do not have a debug board. However, I have a slow MMC card and when | booting from Qi, I can see the debug message on the booting about the | waiting for card to init though I pass the param: | glamo_core.slow_memory=1. I do not get this error when booting from SD | card with Qi. | | When I switched over to u-boot, I do not get the error either and the | system boots up ok. | | It could be that the mmcinit() in Qi is done a lot earlier and it needs | a different way to indicate slow mmc. There's a little confusion here, glamo_core.slow_memory is about trying to solve a problem reported by some people that recent kernels cause crazy behaviour from the Glamo. The "memory" it refers to is the SDRAM memory inside the Glamo, this changes the timing for how we try to talk to it. It's true though there is no equivalent for like /boot/append-GTA02 for NAND, but it does send a lot of other parameters to the kernel, you can confirm by NAND boot and cat /proc/cmdline - -Andy -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkmc4YAACgkQOjLpvpq7dMpZYQCfa7vWgR16GWkizoWL16c0rZYp WtIAni/Fbn7vDkrP9Vui4+fvNm+mUVmr =kcPu -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ android-freerunner mailing list [email protected] http://android.koolu.org/listinfo.cgi/android-freerunner-koolu.org
