Ah yes, I noticed it was warm it must not be suspending right even though
the screen is off.

Well, that's the other problem -- at one point I had usb networking up per
the instructions on the wiki, but after I installed android whenever I run
sudo ifup usb0 I get:
usb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device

But I can flash the phone with neotool, so it has to be either my networking
settings (Ubuntu 8.10 with wicd) or this version of Android. I've tried both
booting my freerunner while connected to usb and booting my computer while
connected to my freerunner and no dice.

I will try installing the images from panicking.org and see where that gets
me.

Thanks for the advice,
Ben
