Seconded, looking forward to a newbie step by step instruction for Ubuntu (better than one found at Openmoko wiki webpage that does not work at all), since I assume that this version of Android does not eat the batteries like Koolu does, while being capable of allowing the file transfer via USB.
In hope that my Freerunner is finally going to have at least one fully functional distro that does not lack the software support, making it one step away from selling it at ebay. Thanks!
