I would recommend leaving aside any bias and giving MagicDraw a fair chance, I'm very sure you'll quickly see all the advantages, between MagicDraw and Poseidon it's a clear cut case which one is better than the other; once you get used to modeling PIM models for MDA you'll learn the more fine-grain details about UML (I know I did) and you'll see Poseidon falls short in several areas. with Poseidon you either add all the datatypes and stereotypes and tagged by hand, or just use the profile as the 'empty model' to start with -- Wouter Zoons - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.andromda.org/ _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1310#1310 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
