It means your "long" is not a UML datatype (it's probably a class). You should
import the andromda-profile-<version>-xml.zip (unzip the xml.zip file and
import the XMI), you can then use the datatypes we have defined in there.

Well, I went back to take a closer look at my model. First, I did indeed
notice a couple of attributes of type "String" that Poseidon had indicated were
"Classes", and not "data types." I changed those, and double checked that NO
attribute or return type was any type that was NOT listed under the "Datatype"
node in my model. With that change, one of the two "errors" went away (the
error about NOT being a UML data type). Now, the only error messages I get are
telling me my identifier is not a "long." For each class that I have an
attribute with the <<Identifier>> stereotype, I get ONLY the warning that my
type is not a long. Yet, my type IS a long, and the attribute is NOT flagged
with a "Not a UML data type."

Any other ideas?

I suppose I could give MagicDraw another try, but it just seemed to take me
longer to define classes with it than it did with Poseidon.
