OK, I think I found "a solution."

I took a HARDER look at my model. Turns out that somehow, the "Namespace" of
my "long" datatype was set to "java.lang" I changed the namespace so it
belonged to the model (which I suppose "removed" any special namespace), and
"it worked." Or, I should say, I no longer get the error messages from the
validator.

I suppose the lesson here (for anyone else trying Poseidon): the "out of the
box" data types are not set up correctly (or, at least not set up the way
AndroMDA expects them to be). I made the mistake of "starting" simply with
"File_New Project", thinking I could manually add whichever stereotypes I
needed to use with AndroMDA. Problem was, the things I THOUGHT was already set
up for me (the data types in the drop-down list) were not set up correctly.
Poseidon "pre-populates" the data types with Java specific data types. Using
those leads to trouble.

I just tried the process AGAIN, but this time, tried to use the "Merge project
into current". That did nothing (no pre-defined data types). I also tried to
open an XMI file that DID work (my MagicDraw created .XMI file), and THAT
didn't work (by, "didn't work", I mean "nothing happened." - no error message,
but no special pre-defined types or stereotypes). As soon as I tried to create
a class and add an attribute to it, Poseidon pre-populated it with its own,
Java specific types.
