gratulations joelkoz, that it is compiling for you. But all the steps you described i have allready done, as i wrote in my initial Posting (i mean the creating of my own 'DataTypes', in a Namespace called datatype.) but it still brings up the failure with "no UML DataType". Can you give me a step by step solution to creating valid UML Datatypes in Poseidon? And i dont have created my own <<identifier>> as i have understood that poseidon is self creating something like an id for every table/class. Right? Any other hint? Otherwise it seems i have to completely redesign in Magicdraw and give it another try. Thanks Frank P.S. just some small note: I have to say Poseidon has really big problems sometimes if you want to modify something you have already created. E.g. i created a Sterotype called dataype and thought that casesensitivenes is the failure that my classes are still not shown as DataTypes, so i had to modify the Stereotype in the XMI by hand, as you cant edit or delete them out of the box anymore). Renaming Namespaces was even more horrible, as it played gambling with the other NAmespaces i had created. On changing one it switched simply with another. But it works still good if you modify the xmi-file.
