I don't know if it's at all the same problem, but with the h2200, you have to have a "rootdelay=5" after the "root=whatever". The instructions show that for the CF card, but didn't have it in the labrun for the SD cards, and I got that same error trying to boot the SD cards until I noticed that and added it to the "root=" statement.
