I guess, you need something like LiveRamdisk (i.e. use rootfs on ramdisk) for booting without card and running linux on your PDA. Unfortunately, seems that there's no ready LiveRamdisk images for hx2000 (at least yet), so you probably need to prepare it yourself (you don't need to make "real" LiveRamdisk bundled in one .exe-file - just to simulate process with haret, kernel and image should be enough). Sadly I don't have ready recipes for that (what command line give to kernel? how to make proper startup.txt for haret? etc.) so you need to investigate it yourself (or ask Paul Sokolovsky for help ;)

So you either need other linux supported PDA with CF-slot, or some PC (notebook) with PCMCIA/CardBus slot and CF-PCMCIA adapter. Or try to run linux on your PDA via ramdisk, as hinted above. -- Best regards, Dmitry Artamonow _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
