Hello. There is a new revision of the ATA over Ethernet network
protocol.

If you forget where to find it, you can always look under "technology"
at www.coraid.com.

This revision has two main differences from AoEr10.

  1) It documents a mechanism used to update the mask list on a
     storage appliance.

  2) It documents a new reserve/release command.

Both newly specified mechanisms are motivated by the needs of clusters
using AoE storage. The first allows clusters to fence nodes out
through manipulation of mask lists. The second should help Windows
clusters to use AoE storage.

Coraid remains committed to simplicity. These extensions were only
added after careful deliberation in the face of real-world needs. AoE
targets that do not support them can return "unrecognized command
code".
