Yes, I've seen the e-mail yesterday, that's what made me want to introduce
myself. Congratulations on af-nl.
Concerning the dictionaries, I'm not sure of what to do yet. One of my
classmates has developed a tool which extracts words from a corpus. I
wanted to use it to extract every word of my base-corpus (i.e. the French
ads) in order to translate those manually and create a very light
dictionary - since it's only for real estate, it doesn't need to be big.
I'm quite new to the coding/scripting/IT-specialist stuff (well I've had
c++ and SQL courses and can understand some PHP but that's all) so I'm
afraid that if I start using scripts and 'complicated functions' I might
cross the deadline for my master's thesis (and that would be lame). I feel
it easier to "start from scratch" using the wiki than try to use Apertium
like a real poweruser.
But thank you for the suggestion, I'm sure to play around with those
scripts and other functions (I thought I had read the entire wiki but
everyday I find new pages.. :D) when I'm not bound by time.
And I'm sure to contact you concerning Dutch-related problems, as I suspect
the separable verbs to be a problem..
