Hi, the point is that we won't reach the intended audience if the iOS app isn't available through the official app store.
I've not studied the market, but the price would have to be low. With crowd funding of the app it might be able to set the price to zero (free). Anyone familiar with GOTEO http://goteo.org/ or some other crowd funding? Yours, Per Tunedal BTW I noticed that GnuPG have raised quite a lot of money through GOTEO. We won't need that much, I suppose.
