Agree. It seems to keep the name of the web brower. For me It says the same
for Firefox.
Is Chrome at least open source or not ?

Perfectly agree.
When I changed the design of my first free software website using PHP and
a little CSS, I saw scrolling was not working with an old version of Netscape.
So, I put a link to access a frame version for very old browers.
Even my newer website is compatible with Firefox 1.5 (there may be scrolling
problems with Firefox 1.0 or older).
There is an exception. In 2 pages, I put videos using the <video> tag of HTML5.
So, to see the videos, you must have a brower of less than 2 years old (but
it will be less than 7 years old in 2020).

I really hate after one or two months after updating a flash version to find
anoter website asking to update it again because the owner of the site chose
to use the last version of this software to be as few as possible compatible
with reader's browers.

Been obliged to update his software is a typical attitude of enterprises
selling owner softwares. I know there are secutity updates even for free
softwares, but the user must have the right to choose when he will change
something on his computer.
In fact, when I prepared references hard disks for a group of computers,
it would have been a problem if, due to automatic updates, hard disks
content changes without the user knows that (and system stop to be the
same on every computer).

Few days ago, I saw apache stopped working on my current distribution.
So, this afternoon, I just copied my system partitions from a backup of
last week, and it works again without having lost anything.

According to the answer of Francis, Well, if there are java scripts or
something like that who need a web brother not too old, may be it can be
announced, but rather speaking og the required technology than ordering
to put a newer version of the web brower.
