No. Chrome is like Chromium with some proprietary Google stuff added in (Chromium on the other hand is FOSS). The browser detection script (MIT licensed) at https://browser-update.org/update.js is obviously not able to distinguish the two. I posted an issue at https://code.google.com/p/browser-update/issues/detail?id=233 > According to the answer of Francis, Well, if there are java scripts or > something like that who need a web brother not too old, may be it can be > announced, but rather speaking og the required technology than ordering > to put a newer version of the web brower. The message said: "This website would like to remind you: Your browser (Chrome 39) is out of date. Update your browser for more security, comfort and the best experience on this site." It's not an order, just a recommendation. Nor does the site require the newest browsers; in fact, Sushain has been more diligent than I would ever have bothered with in getting it to work in ancient browsers full of security holes and whatnot. That said, apertium.org does still require JavaScript, and we should have a non-js fallback (patches welcome). Well, you can always use your address bar as textarea like http://apy.projectjj.com/translate?langpair=sme|nob&q=mus+lea+beana but we can probably make a better UI than that :-) -- Kevin Brubeck Unhammer GPG: 0x766AC60C
