Hello all,

In response to a query on the apertium-contact mailing list from a
Wikipedia editor, I've spent a couple of days setting up a pair for
Catalan to Galician.

   https://svn.code.sf.net/p/apertium/svn/staging/apertium-cat-glg

It has around 19,000 bilingual dictionary entries (from crossing es-ca
es-gl + en-ca en-gl) and uses the monolingual dictionaries from
apertium-cat and apertium-glg. I've copied the transfer rules from pt-ca
and made a number of minor changes (removing some rules and slightly
modifying others).

I have mostly finished testvocking it, although a few things remain:

* Some adjectives have in Catalan but not in Galician. These are
possibly theoretical forms.
* "poder" apparently has imperative forms in Catalan but not in Galician
?
* I don't really understand how verb + pronoun groups should be
translated.

Example output below:

If anyone is interested in this pair I would encourage them to get
involved. In particular the bilingual dictionary needs checking and the
defaults need setting. The closed categories could also do with being
improved.

Fran
