Hi Hubert, Those of us old enough to remember will remind you that the very same arguments were put forward by "Distinguished Legal Scholars" and "Human Rights Experts" from a certain large Asian country back in the 2008-2012 timeframe. They did not achieve "OMOV" then, but managed to alienate a large section of the community who took great offense to being lectured to by these "experts."
