Well I'm really interrested in getting involved in the work around kde4 aesthetics. But I'm good at only two things : making icons (lanthys icon set) and making mockups (made some for plasma). And I create loads of the latters. But these are only dreams if they're not shared with anyone. I've recently read a post about how things actually work in kde : kde goes on because people are bold enought to do things and if nobody's there to stop them, these things are done and so goes kde. Let's be bold : I made mockups about what I humbly think could be a nice default theme for a new kde version, I've been told about it that I should submitt it to you, and some added that kde people would be foolish not to implement it (be assured these are not my words). I found this heartwarming. So I wanted to know if you're interrested in what I've done so far. I'm well aware that the Oxygen style is being or will be developped, but we could have more than one default theme ? On top of that I've some ideas about usability I'd like to share. So I can't code, but Hippoage volunteered to port my style mockups to kde3. However, I'd rather see it in kde4 and if you're interrested in having another fresh style, I'd appreciate you telling me so, so I could bring this work back into secret and focus on a kde4 version. Jan wrote he was interested in light traces, I'm not sure it califies as one, but it's about the same idea.
