I have been using both Todo and Notes synched with Toodledo for about 1 1/2 month. I think they are very strong apps, especially Todo (was using Toodledo Tasks at first but switched to Todo ...much better app). I cannot fidn a list of planned enhanmcements so I woudl like to submit the following:
- Synching: Synching both Todo and Notes to Toodledo seems to be a problem. I do not use the same folders for Todo and Notes (many more folders in Todo) and synching Notes after synching Todo caused my folders in Toodledo to only present my 3 Notes folders. The tasks (over 300 because I have my shopping list in these as well) that were in flders that did not exist in Notes got dumped into the Inbox! I had to re-sort everything into folders on my iTouch, and resynch with Toodledo. Now I can't synch/back up my notes anymore. Makes sense? I can live with it (backing up Todo is more important to me than backing up Notes), but not ideal - Landscape orientation for Todo: You have it for Notes. Are you planning on doing it for Todo as well? Please. - Task status indication: A long time ago I used to use the Franklin Covey system and they have the best way (in my opinion) of coding task status: - Task completed: Check mark - Task on-going: Dot - Delegated task: D - Task planned forward/postponed: > Anayway you could duplicate this? It's SO MUCH more intuitive than the tasg system!!! - Real estate utilization: Suggesting abbreviating the date (Thu 2/26/09 or even just 2//26/09 vs. Thu Feb 26,2009) to make room for addiitonal info on 2nd line when viewing tasks in a list. - Color coding folder: Color coding the background of tasks depending on the folder they come from woudl make it easier to figure out what project a task is from when viewing yoru Focus list. - Reordering tasks: I would like to be able to move task around so as to order my tasks in the order I plan to execute them. Right now, the only way I have figured out to be able to do that is to insert a number at the beginnign of the task description and let the app sort by number ... not elegant.
