One problem I have with the GTD approach is this idea of assigning tasks to the Next Action list. If I have a project list and I've identified what needs to happen next on that project, it's far simpler to leave the task on the project list (instead of re-assigning it to the Next Action list), but give it a due date, which will put it on the Focus List. This saves me from having to move tasks from a project list to Next Action without losing the urgency of Next Action.
