I've been looking for a mobile app which does this easily for a long time. If Omnifocus were quicker to load and supported creation of repeating tasks directly on the the iPhone, I would probably use that. At the moment, however, it's a bit of a pain to use.
Instead of using due dates in Appigo Todo to mark your next actions, why not try using priorities. These can be filtered in the Focus list as well. Overall, I think Todo gets the balance just about right in terms of speed, simplicity and features.
