Thanks for the suggestion. Actually I had tried this before but not
managed to find a setup that worked for me. However, with your prompt
I have had another go and it seems pretty good now. I still have to
manually edit the next tasks in a list once I have done the
predecessor (to bump up their priority such that they enter the focus
list) but this can be seen as part of the review process anyway, and
in practice it is not too much of a hassle - often doing the first
task in the dependent list actually takes my work in a different
direction anyway.
