When I consider all of my tasks, the due date that I set for them are indeed, most of the time, the soonest date when I should start the tasks. It is rare that I have task which needs a real due date, meaning latest day before which the task should be compulsory completed. The concept that I suggest for Start date put the focus mainly on the Start Date, the Due Date becoming "optional" and need to be used only if you want the task to become overdue at some point of time. So, YES, you are right when you wrote that "EVERY task MUST have a start date, or it will automatically be a Today item" but NO, "this does not require setting 2 dates for every task", the due date can be skip if you do not really have a due date. Currently, I have to review each day all of my today's tasks which are not completed, and change their Due date (which is indeed Start date) to tomorow. With my suggestion, these tasks are - without intervention by user - automatically considered Today's tasks (and not considered "overdue", unless you set a Due date and this Due date has not been respected). --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Learn more about Todo, Notebook (notes available everywhere), and AccuFuel (fuel efficiency tracker) on Appigo's website: http://www.appigo.com/ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Appigo Todo" group.
