I really think Todo needs a start date option. The problem I am
having is that I have numerous tasks that take more than one day to
complete. I am constantly changing the due date of these tasks
because they cannot be finished in one day. The "due date" that I
enter is in fact what I want the start date to be. I need to enter a
date to remind me when to start working on these projects, but the
problem is that these tasks soon become "overdue" when I cannot finish
them.

Ideally, I think, I would like tasks with a start date to be sorted by
the start date and tasks without a start date to be sorted by their
due date. Then, when the start date of tasks with a start date
passes, they become sorted by their due date.

Finally, their needs to be a "filter" option for "active" tasks which
would include any taks (1) without a start date and with a due date,
and (2) any task with a start date that is not in the future (i.e. if
today is March 4th a task with a start date of March 4th or earlier
becomes "active" but a task with a start date of March 5th is not
active but shows under "tomorrow's tasks).

Please let me know what you guys think. This would be a perfect
system for me and I want to know if anyone else has figured out how to
get this functionality (or something similar) with the current version
of Todo.

Any tips for tweaking the above system are welcome.

Thanks.
