I currently use the lists for what most people call projects - and the change to coloured dots is probably going to be a bit annoying. OTOH I could convert to tasks with subtasks. (As an aside, does this sync properly with Toodledo? I never bothered paying for the upgrade option there since the subtasks were not supported on the phone, and I don't really use it except as a back-up anyway.) I'm surprised there is no way to reorder the lists. OTOH maybe that is only annoying to me with my list=project approach (which means I have a huge number of them, currently I use an alphabetic prefix to impose groupings). I prefer the new calendar although it's a bit tedious if one wants to set a date in the far future (but that is a rare event for me). I should probably try it for a bit longer before expressing strong opinions about usability!
