I thought I'd take a moment and introduce myself as well. I'm just getting back to my Apple II roots also. I've had a //e in storage for several years and am in the process of getting it up and running.
I was an Apple Ii guy from the early 1980s, even running a BBS from my house for a while. I later became an Amiga guy, then finally settled on the Mac as my primary Platform in around 1991. Day to day, I use a TiBook and G4 Cube, but I still remember my early Apple days fondly. I had a totally loaded //e, then upgraded it to a IIGS before selling it. I'm in the process of rebuilding a //e that I bought on eBay about 3 years ago but never bothered to deal with. I've even moved the boxes twice without even opening them! Upon opening the computer last week, I was pleasantly suprised to see that it had a Vulcan drive in it, so I'll have some fun getting that up and running (assuming it still works). I also managed to track down a MultiRam RGB card for it and I even have a Ramfactor/Ramcharger combo in storage to try to get up and running. :-) I'm currently looking for a Transwarp card and an AppleCat to make it complete. Oh, I could do with a Kensington System Saver as well. Anyone got any of these items for sale? Ok, that's enough rambling for now. Wait until I get started building a 2GS... cheers, -Hal -- Apple2list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Apple2list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/apple2.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/apple2list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
