The school district of Superior Wisconsin recently destroyed 99% of their Apple //e's and // Gs's this summer. They told the people that these computers were being recycled for the plastic. I think the cases are ABS plastic which is not recycleable. They replaced these computers with the small footprint HP desktops. The IBM's do not have the educational software available that the Apple computers have. but the new HP computers with the LCD screens " look cute" . The educational value of the Apple computers is now lost for the students in Superior. It is a sad day
