Here, here!

I went to the back yard of a man who had a literal mountain of Apple //e's
he'd removed from a local school district. A friend and I, with my
mini-pickup truck and his trailer, brought them home to clean and glean.

When I was finished we had dozens of working Apple //e's and many, many
one-of-a-kind cards.

Afterward, I set up a table outside and asvertised free Apple //'s.
Only two people came, one of whom complained about them even though
I had cleaned and prepped them and added some of the software with them.

It was a very discouraging effort. And the bulk of them went to recycling.

And I played with the beige and the platinum ones I'd kept.
