Its like anything else, you get a new drill and next thing you know your
using it to try to do everything. Once you get over this phase you put it
down and use the apropriate tools for the job.

Apple II's dont look good to most people because they are old and cant run
the latest of anything plus nothing new is being developed for them along
with the manufacturer not producing or supporting the unit. The same happens
in other industries once the product (even if it does the job perfectly)
becomes unsupported by the manufacturer and other support facilities you
have to find an alternative and start using it because sooner or later the
old device will break and leave you high and dry. The fact that apple II's
have been doing a job for 2 decades just shows how well it was suited for
the job in that time period.
