Yes ... I have experienced this too! My wife is the same way, except that the next time she does something she asks the same damn questions!!! Obviously, I didn't fall in love with her for her computer skills! LOL!
People are not completely stupid these days (well not yet) but I notice a
large percentage of people dont want to even try to do anything they just
ask how its done step by step and memorize. I worked with college educated
people who would come by my office and ask a question and I new 15 minutes
later they would ask a question for the next step without even thinking
about how to acomplish it.
Powerpoint is 99% style over substance, at least the ones I have seen. Guess
it keeps you from nodding off or looking out the window during a
presentation by a sales type.
For myself, the fun lies in trying to figure it out ...
