Depending on where you live there may be access to a few ISPs that have shell access, and you can use your GS to log on from there with any comm program. ProTerm is still being sold by Intrec (http://www/intrec.com), and Modem MGR has been legally classified as freeware, and available from the trenco ftp site (ftp.gno.org). Mail me offlist with your location and I might be able to help out with locating shell--my ISP, Foxvalley Internet offers it--even if there's not a dialup for them near you, you could do what some people are doing: get a cheap long-distance card--Sam's and Costco sell them for .03/min--and you can call any of the logon points to get the shell.
