1) I use WD-40 frequently, and also ATF to lube the pins.  But the #9 pin (the bottom 
one that prints the tail on commas and other character descenders) still fails often.  
I have a collection of Img-II printheads, and change from one to another from time to 
time.

Just recently, I found I can use a fine tweezer to (carefully!) slide the #9 pin in 
and out, freeing it up.  This has worked very well for me, allowing me to use 
printheads that I had given up on.

2) I thought the Img-II printer was made by Tosheba (for Apple).
