1) I use WD-40 frequently, and also ATF to lube the pins. But the #9 pin (the bottom one that prints the tail on commas and other character descenders) still fails often. I have a collection of Img-II printheads, and change from one to another from time to time. Just recently, I found I can use a fine tweezer to (carefully!) slide the #9 pin in and out, freeing it up. This has worked very well for me, allowing me to use printheads that I had given up on. 2) I thought the Img-II printer was made by Tosheba (for Apple). -- Bill Neef Grass Lake, MI, USA <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- Apple2list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Apple2list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/apple2.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/apple2list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
