I am printing from CoolWriter and Medley.  I believe that both are 16bit
applications, but I could be mistaken.  They both call up the same
"Print..." dialog box which I believe belongs to the "ImageWriter" Chooser
driver in GS/OS, so that would make them 16bit apps.

Yes, you are correct.  So perhaps there is only this one "ImageWriter"
driver.  So then how do I get the darn thing to print in the highest
quality?
