One caveat: if the modem says it's a "winmodem" it probably won't work.
Winmodems use the Windows OS to get their operating code, unlike the
earlier (or later? :) ) ones that had all the code on chip in the modem
itself. I'm not sure if it's a good guide, but I think if it says
"Rockwell chip" it's a full-code modem. Anyone else have info on this?
