FYI, with a CF card reader you can physically
transfer your CF cards, read them as if they were
in the CFFA, read the entire partitions off and
write them back on. I do it all day. :o)

A lot of newer peecees even have a compactflash slot built into them, so
there's your physical bridge. If not, card readers can be had for $10-15
bucks--cheaper if you watch for sales and rebates.
