Yes, that is *exactly* what I have said (look at the message archive and read again my messages, please). A PC card reader *in conjunction with* CiderPress and the CFFA opens a world of possibilities, as they say. Precisely, I started the thread talking about the CFFA (thus the subject "CFFA adapter's 4th run").

It's true that CiderPress can do a lot of things. CiderPress without a CFFA or a suitable disk drive can only handle the images and files on the PC's hard drive. Not for a limitation of itself. If you don't have a VCR, your TV set can't play videotapes even if it has a scart, if you know what I mean.

On the other hand, and without aiming to polemize, I have allways found RTFM very strong. People may be wrong even after reading the manual (which I have done), may have not understood something, or can simply have different ways to look at something. That's why mailing lists and forums exist. Also, perhaps the "F" is a little out of place ;-) .

Greetings,

Uh, Ciderpress does way more than open images.
Please RTFM before making such a claim. Thank you.

What Bill said.

A lot of newer peecees even have a compactflash slot built into them, so there's your physical bridge. If not, card readers can be had for $10-15 bucks--cheaper if you watch for sales and rebates.
