I needed to test some IIgs memory cards so I took a "Woz" unit out of my pile. I was puzzled when the software I was using complained "You need a ROM 1" or higher..." Then it dawned on me that I apparently had a unit with a ROM 0 logic board.

Did the Woz case ever come with a ROM 0 ? I thought the Woz units were all ROM 1. Obviously the Woz cover could have easily been switched from another IIgs bottom section.

The ROM 0 seems unusually clean. It has a "State of CT" sticker on the bottom. I guess the state bought it and never bothered to have it upgraded and it was likely not used much either.

Thanks for any 2 cents worth :-)

Paul
